I keep checking my phone to see that one specific notification..... Almost asleep when my phone ticked; 'A notification,' it says. Your name was there, you liked my photo. And my stomach drowned in butterflies— Scratch that—moths, surely they're moths. Stronger, buzzier, like your power To occupy and stay in my brain With that single heart emoji beside your name. Thinking that the double tap Is as if you love me just the same. Well I don’t know if telling him what I feel will make things right for both of us cause i still check my phone for that specific notification... There are so much more about you that makes me fall deeply in love with you, but I don't wanna share it to everyone, or else they will fall for you too...haha... So I keep checking my phone to see your name liked my picture or commented on my picture...poor soul.. Thats the least am doing yet you don’t even know how just that makes me feel... My phone rests quietly by my side as i wait..Checking for a notification that i have missed a call or am receiving a loud ring from the boy that is on my mind... Man I cannot forget your face... I wait each day & night It has been quite a while since you have called my name I wonder if you have forgotten or misplaced my information because to this day i am still waiting for just one ring... I wondered what happened when you offered yourself to someone, and they opened you, only to discover you were not the gift they expected and they had to smile and nod and say thank you all the same. I gave it a try to date thinking of all the wowed things i wanna do with my soulmate... A roller coaster I thought it will be but not even life could agree. We fight,we argue,we quarrel, we are off today we are so in love tomorrow. I felt so annoyed and disturbed when I could pour all my heart to someone only for him to give me sweet nothings. Ever just wondered why God gave you a big genuine heart only for people to step on it?? It be me almost all the times when I try loving someone. To say that one waits a lifetime for his soulmate to come around is a paradox. People eventually get sick of waiting, take a chance on someone, and by the art of commitment become soulmates, which takes a lifetime to perfect. But I have never given up on love I know there is still someone out there for me and someone who will treat me just right.
